“Hear Here” Event

Hear Here is an annual event started by Nick Veronico and Chris Kyroglou. In the many years that the fun fest has been held it has been a great success each and every year. The day is filled with raffles, entertainment and plenty of activities for both children and adults alike. -

Join us on Sunday September 21, 2014 for our 14th Annual Hear Here Fun Fest event at Camp Robin Hood.

The main focus of the event is to promote public awareness to rid people of the stereotypes and stigmas associates with hearing loss. We want to make people aware that hearing loss is not directly related to how old one is and that children do wear hearing aids too.
The Fun Fest is also a day to raise money for the Hospital for Sick Children in order to help provide hearing aids for hearing impaired children. The fund covers the patient cost of the hearing aids that is not covered by the Assistive Devices Program (ADP).
The prizes awarded at the Fun Fest are generous donations given to Union Hearing Aid Centre by hearing aid manufacturers and corporations who want to support the event. The hearing aid manufacturers are also present in order to answer any questions or concerns that any of the children or parents may have and also to present new and improved technologies that have become available.
